Brenda Young is a nationally certified Physician Assistant with over 20 years of experience. She completed her training at Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital in Los Angeles California, where she completed the PA program Magna Cum Laude in 1999. She has had the opportunity to work in multiple specialties including internal medicine, family practice, occupational medicine and psychiatry. Experience in this variety of disciplines has given her an expanded view of medicine which allows her to serve her patients more holistically. Her scope of practice encompasses children from 6 years old and adults up to 64 years old.
She believes that every patient is unique and needs to be seen as an individual; she strives to serve all of her patients with empathy, respect and dignity.
Brenda Young is fluent in Spanish and loves volunteering at JAARS Health Services, a non-profit organization that helps support Bible translation throughout the world. At JAARS, she has the global opportunity of caring for both international and local personnel involved with Bible translation.
Natira Holmes, PMHNP-BC
Natira Holmes is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is licensed by the state of North Carolina. She received her master’s degree in advanced practice nursing, graduating with honors, from Eastern Kentucky University. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and is an inaugural charter member of the Gamma chapter of the Omega Nu Lambda National Honor Society. She additionally has bachelor’s degrees in Nursing and Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is also a decorated OEF/OIF military veteran, having served 8 years in the US Navy on deployments and humanitarian missions.
Natira Holmes treats individuals from 13 to 64 years old. She has previous experience as a registered nurse in both outpatient and inpatient psychiatry, as well as, clinical video telehealth. She provides a holistic and therapeutic approach utilizing diagnoses and psychopharmacological treatment to improve medication management and outcomes.
